Four Town Fair Rules & Regulations

1. Exhibitors must forward a list of their exhibits to the Fair Secretary or Assistant Secretary by September 1st. The Fair may refuse any entry that is not in the best interest of the Fair or it deems advisable for health standards. All Pulling Contest, Open Horse Show and Open Oxen may be entered on the day of the show.
2. All exhibitors may purchase an exhibitor’s ticket ($10) from the Secretary at the time of entry and entitles exhibitor entry to the Fair all four days.
3. Exhibitors must list all entries on entry form. Make sure Dept., Class Numbers, and Lot Numbers are listed with name of article. Livestock exhibitors see rules and times for entry.
4. Exhibitors in Classes 50-66 and Boys & Girls Classes 1-15 & 20 must be brought to Exhibit Hall Wednesday between 2:00 and 7:00 pm. Same day registration not accepted. Articles entered in previous years may not be entered again. Judging will take place Thursday with only judges and superintendents present.
5. No entry fees for the following: Oxen, Pony & Horse Pulling, Doodlebug Pulling and Open Oxen Show. Horse & Pony Pulls are allowed one driver and two helpers. All other pulling contest will be allowed one driver and one helper.
6. No applicant for any premium shall be entitled to such premium unless said applicant is the owner of the property or article entered at the time of exhibiting same.
7. Judges decisions are final. No person shall interfere with judges. Should an exhibitor interfere, his/her exhibit will be disqualified.
8. No person shall be a judge in any class which he/she may be an exhibitor
9. All premiums awarded may be liable to pro-rata reduction sufficient to meet any deficiency that may occur.
10. Fruit, Vegetable or Flower Class collections are not eligible for any other premium.
11. Only individuals tending their animals will be allowed to remain on the grounds overnight. All others, except Security Police, must leave the grounds at the close of the day’s activities.
12. Exhibits can be removed between 5:30—7:00 pm on Sunday. Exhibits may be picked up Monday from 4:00-6:00 pm.
13. No Premiums will be paid on the dates of the Fair except where otherwise stated.
14. All Premiums will be paid after October 31st. Any exhibitor who fails to receive a Premium by November 30th should notify the Treasurer via email: Treasurer@4townfair.com by providing name, address, including zip code.
15. Parade participants admitted free to Fair on Saturday with Hand Stamp or Wristband. No entry without hand stamp or wristband.
16. Any company or firm dealing in agricultural implements or other materials of interest will be allotted spaces for the display of their products upon application to Fair.
17. No alcoholic beverages permitted on the grounds or parking lots except beer or wine purchased at the Beer Garden.
18. Parking allowed in designated areas only. Violators will be towed at owner’s expense and the Fair Assoc. will not be liable for any damages incurred.
19. Only vehicles pulling trailers with show animals will be allowed access to restricted parking areas.
20. Motor homes, trailers, campers and supply trailers are to park in designated areas.
21. All Concessionaires must abide by contract Rules and Regulations of the Four Town Fair Association.
22. The Unions Agricultural Society, Inc. (Four Town Fair) will not be liable for any of the following: Loss or theft of any articles on exhibit, articles or materials left in automobiles, campers, trucks, etc.; damage to any exhibit, theft of, or damage to, auto- mobiles, trucks, campers, etc., or injuries sustained by any participants in competitive activities.
23. No dogs allowed on the Fairgrounds except for Guide Dogs.
24. All errors and omissions are subject to correction by the Fair Secretary at Secretary@4townfair.com
